Well, you've got no excuse now thanks to Postures for Pregnancy, a video instructed by Yoga Master Alan Finger, founder of the New York-based Yoga Zone studios and creator of a physical and spiritual form of yoga called ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda).
The video stars wife Greta Ronningen, seven months pregnant with their first child. In a very down-to-earth, accessible style, Finger leads Greta through a 50-minute routine of simple stretches and poses designed to improve flexibility and blood circulation, and lessen common discomforts of pregnancy, like lower-back pain. Throughout the workout Finger focuses on the importance of breathing, which allows the body to relax and de-stress. Your body and baby will definitely thank you.
